Hello Stowe Middle/High School Families!

Greetings from the Stowe Booster Club, a parent-run volunteer organization committed to supporting extracurricular activities and promoting school pride! As the 2022-2023 school year gets underway, we want to take the opportunity to re-introduce ourselves, let you know what we have been up to, and update you on our plans for the school year.  

First and foremost, we would like to recognize our Athletic Director, Tim Alberston, the newest addition to Stowe Middle/High’s top-notch co-curricular team. We were fortunate to work closely with Tim last year and have witnessed first hand his commitment to our students. He has developed and communicated goals for the athletics and drama programs, in collaboration with the amazing performing arts team. We are excited to continue our partnership with him! 

So, what have we been up to? Last year, we donated the backstop net on the athletic fields, financed props for The Little Shop of Horrors, donated three canopy tents, and awarded $500 scholarships to two students from the Senior Class.  We raised money and promoted school pride by opening a Stowe merch store on-line, and opened the concession stand on the field; both were a huge hit.  We are also excited to announce that Stowe Boosters is now a 501(c)(3) organization so your donations are tax deductible!  

OUR GOAL

This year, we have set a fundraising goal of $25,000, and, with input from our school coaches and leaders, have prioritized the following areas of need: 

• 2 annual Stowe Boosters scholarships – $1,000 ($500/student)
• 6 canopy/tents to provide shelter for our athletes, timers, trainers, etc. – $2,000
• Production support for fall and spring plays – $2,000
• Athletics storage shed – $15,000
• Reserve fund – $5,000

In order to meet our fundraising goal, we need your support! Every donation is appreciated!
